Chi Omega started off this semester strong, with a brand new Exec Board:

          They have hit the ground running with new and exciting ideas for the chapter. The new exec also brought a wonderful addition to the new chapter room by painting the Chi Omega Crest on the wall behind the exec table!

STEP SHOW CHAPIONS 2011

Celebrating the win:) This year Chi Omega came out to dominate the competiton. Seniors Elysa Fortner and Isabelle Harden lead the group to victory with this years theme of Robots. The girls practiced every night for up to 4 hours at a time and loved every minute of it! Step Show Champions 2011

With a special song edited just for Chi Omega, the girls strolled to “Red and Yellow”! After a long night of waiting, Chi Omega finally took the stage preforming as the last act of the night, they blew the judges away!

Chi Omega Wish Week 2011
     Wish Week 2011 proved to be one of the most successful Wish Week’s in Chi Omega history. With Senior Rachel Young in charge of  the Wish Week activities and Sopomore Anna Nicodemus in charge of Mr. MTSU, Chi Omega has already rasied enough money to grant one child’s wish.  During Wish Week, fraternities had the opportunity to particiapte in the following activites to raise money for the Make-A-Wis h Foundation:

New Year…New Beginnings!

The Spring 2011 Semester is now in session! Zeta Theta welcomes everyone back and wishes everyone a great semester! We hope you had a wonderful break with friends and family celebrating Christmas and the New Year! Hopefully, this Spring will bring you motivation and courage to end in May with straight A’s! Let’s be the organization with the best GPA on campus!

Want to hear why this semester is so exciting for Zeta Theta?! Because… next weekend (Jan. 21-22) the Baby Hooties are being initiated into Chi Omega. Yes! True Chi Omega sisters. We are super excited because we are initiating GREAT girls into our chapter! HOOTIE HOO!

This past year was so amazing and the reason why was because of the great Executive Board we had for our chapter. Together, they made things happen and worked so well together. We are so sad to watch them leave (especially the Seniors) but are so excited about the new year with the new Exec board!

On Sunday, November 21, we elected the new Exec Board for the new year. What a great outcome it was! The new Exec Board includes: Jordan T, Morgan D, Kelsey C, Hannah C, Erica D, Asheton W, Emily J, and Mary C. Congratulations girls on the new positions! We know you all are so excited and we can’t wait to see what you all do for Chi Omega!

We love Derby Days!

Chi Omega loves Sigma Chi!



We encourage everyone to get involve this week for Derby Days 2010 because there’s a lot going on and plenty of opportunities to support Sigma Chi!

 

Wednesday, November 10
– “Derby Darling Pageant”
– Each Sorority will enter no more than 3 members, $25 a contestant, in a mini-pageant at the Baymont Inn in Murfreesboro. Each contestant will be judged on talent and interview. Points will be awarded to sororities based on placement of their contestants.

Thursday, November 11
– Sigma Mike’s Night
– Jersey Mike’s is teaming up with Sigma Chi, and is donating a portion of their profits for the night to Derby Days from 4 PM to 9 PM. Sororities will be given participation points for coming and purchasing food.

Friday, November 12
– Band Party
-THB will be playing at the Sigma Chi House. Admission will be charged to both help pay for the band, and profits will be donated to The Children’s Miracle Network.

Saturday, November 13
– “Best Burgers in the ‘Boro”
-Prior to the North Texas @ Middle Tennessee State football game, Cheeseburger Charlie’s will be providing their burgers, with a portion of the profits going to The Children’s Miracle Network. Tickets will be sold in advance, and at the game. Tickets are $8 and will include a meal, and the Derby Days coupon book.
